Awaking next to a much older man,
His arm tightly wrapped around my body,
Our legs intertwined, we are like a poppy;
Poetically beautiful, our short lifespan.

I’m sitting here, I’m watching you,
I observe your every movement.
You are my sole inducement,
Your eyes my favourite shade of blue.

Soft spoken is your voice,
Calming me in every sense.
With you I will drop my fence,
The moment I saw you I made a choice.

You touch me deep to my core,
When you get close, you make me tremble.
I’ll make you my home, no my temple,
Because I need nothing more.
