Ich bin auf der anderen Seite des Atlantiks und trotzdem teilen wir das gleiche zuhause. Ich bin einfach weggelaufen, in der Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben auf der anderen Seite. Du weißt, was sie immer sagen: Das Gras auf der anderen Seite ist grüner. Ich kann dir jetzt sagen, dass es das nicht ist. Es ist genauso schwarz wie zu Hause. Manche Sachen sind hier besser, aber zuhause ist zuhause! Ich werde nie meine Familie vergessen oder diese wenigen, richtigen Freunde, die mich wirklich verstehen.

Ich hatte nie gedacht, das ich zuhause so sehr vermissen könnte, weil es immer da war. Aber jetzt bin ich weg und ich weiß jetzt, ich bin aus Wien, ein Großtadt-Mädchen, nicht ein small town girl.

Ich brauche die nervigen Menschen in den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, ich brauche die lauten Stadtgeräusche, aber am wichtigsten: Ich brauche diese wenigen Menschen, die mir zuhören und denen es egal ist, wieviel dummes Zeug ich von mir gebe. Ich brauche diese wenigen Leute, die mich hören.
