Lately I have been fearing:
What if you loose interest?
Maybe I will be too boring,
All I may offer is being literate.

You always say I must only look cute,
But there is so much more I want to be for you.
You play the most beautiful tunes on your flute,
And in between there is not much you cannot do.

Then there is me…
Writing one word after another,
Asking: Who may I be?
Pushing my boundries further and further.

My biggest fear became seeing you leave.
The necklace touching my skin the only thing to remain.
Yet its touch makes me want to believe
You won’t leave my chest in pain.

You got me pleading on my knees:
„Please keep playing your song for me.“
For you, my best self I will be,
The cutest, smartest, most endearing woman you’ll ever see!
